problems after gallbladder removal

Hi all, Looking for a bit of advice. I gallbladder removed removed 7 weeks ago but having ongoing issues. I seem to be woken in the early hours with a feeling of ppressure and burning high under my right rib. Also have a sensation under the edge of the same rib which is like someone is scraping my insides with razor blades. Have had this on and off for a number of years and it was finally diagnosed as gallstones. Unsure what it could be now?

Hi there, I have been back to the gp and consultant has sent me for an mri. Unfortunately I won't get to see the surgeon again until the middle of august and gp's tend to avoid giving opinions whilst a more senior doc is in charge. Just at a bit of a loss as to how to manage pain and diet in the meantime and wanted to see if anyone else had similar issues.
