PROBLEMS IN CANADA

I have been on Zip for 19 years (initially told it was not addictive). I have become immune to it and my GP tried to supplement with ambiem , amtrip. , you name it. I should have been off of it. I finally told my GP that I want to go off of it so am trying the transition to diazepan with limited sucessed. Imovaine has given me tramatic side effects.
I am within my prescription requirements and contacted my GP for a small amount of Imovane because i have an appointment with my sleep speciatlist this tuesday. I requested this prescription on Monday and by thurs he had seen my presription but did not fill it. I was told he needs 3-5 days to fill a script and he is on holidays until next friday.
When he wrote the scipt and saw my request he knew I needed a refill. After 19 years of being on imovane withdrawal is wicked and can be dangerous; however, there was no care,
I am on my own now trying to get off of this drug, unless I can get a dr. to help me. Last night I wrote out my will

I feel your pain my friend. yes withdrawal is absolute pure hell i don't think you can even describe it to someone that has never been addicted to a "drug".
I, like yourself have no support either my doctor only gives me 14 tablest every 2 weeks !! As he feels i was abusing them because i went to hospital whilst going through the hell of withdrawal....and as for the hospital what a joke they knew i was suffering with cancer aswell and just said if you need any help with anything come back and see us APART FROM THE WITHDRAWAL!!!!
Can you believe that?
Ive only got a few left as i type this so i'm very worried what i'm going to do
I can't do the Ashton Plan because i am Benzo Resilient :-/
So i think i might write out my will aswell.. can't take this pain anymore.
Good luck hope you find some hope/help from somewhere soon.
Take care
