Problems post op foot surgery

Posted , 1 user is following.

i had a bunionectomy and dislocated 2nd toe surgery on the 22nd June this year .. big toe was broken in 2 places then pieces taken out and the screwed back together (my horse trod on my foot and shes a clydesdale)

it was starting to get better but last night I was walking up the stairs and I tripped at the top so put my hand out to try and lessen the fall but the 2 toes bent forward like when you stand on tiptoes and they aren't meat to as 2nd toe was fused and big toe has very minimal movement in it .. the pain now is excruciating it feels like a sharp stabbing pain all around the base of my big toe ..im really hoping and praying I haven't caused any damage

what do you think I should do

sorry forgot to say i also had an infection in the tissue on the big toe scar which comprised the bone healing process
