Problems swallowing and feeling of lump in throat

Good evening, hopefully someone here can give me some much needed advice.

About 5 weeks ago, I was eating some jellied sweets and all of a sudden, I began to choke and couldn't swallow them. I didn't think anything of this and discarded the rest.

The following week, I went to bed on a Friday evening and when I tried to swallow, my throat began to almost convulse like something was stuck in it, after a quick phone call to the NHS I went off to hospital and they didn't really do much other than just tell me that my throat wasn't blocked and told me to see my GP

The entire weekend I had a sore throat and problems swallowing so at the start of the new week, I paid to see an ENT. The following week I had an endoscopy and was told that my soft palate was low and that I had some mild acid reflux.

I was prescribed Emozul and Gaviscon and told to get them if I needed it.

Over Christmas, I have had a continual sore throat, can't swallow food without choking and just generally feel rough. I am still getting the feeling that something is stuck in my throat.

I went to the pharmacy and got my meds and started them 3 days ago , so far I am not seeing a change.

Any thoughts or suggestions as to where I go from here would be gratefully received.

Look after your digestive system and try indigestion drinks over the counter, at a pharmacy.
