so its been 3 weeks since my gb removal.I can tolerate foods,i take a ox bile pill before big meal, incisions healing nicely.still have nervous issues don't know if thats the stomach healing or not but I just am having such a hard time with bowel movements.Drink fiber powder every day eat foods with fiber all those over the counter pills so nothing for it.gets to the point where i can feel it getting uncomfortable and then have to do an enema to clean me out.is my stomach eventually going to figure things out so I can go naturally?thanks for any feedback

    hiya

It sounds like your doing brilliantly!!

Firstly, are you on any pain medication still? if so this may be the culprit, if not eat plenty of fruit and drink plenty of water, this really helps. maybe if in doubt consult your dr and get another type of med. It will take a while for your system to adjust, my surgeon told me up to 6 months.

    Very best wishes

This sounds wrong to me. I had gallbladder removed a few years ago and I am sure I was not like this.

I would contact the hospital where you had the operation and get some advice from them.

Take care and keep in touch
