Problems with irritation on glans. Could that be LS/BXO ?

Hi everybody,

i have been dealing with a long history of penile irritation. Which was quite asymptomatic in the past. I am uncut, however, my glans look always dry. And one side of my frenulum is tighter than the other one and always red/ sensitive.

I am concerned about LS as this condition is also the go-to answer when dealing with chronic irritation. However, I cannot find any typical lesion of LS. Unless the redness caused by the one side of my frenulum is penile adhesion caused by scarring, however, I have this uncomfortable adhesion since I am a teenager, could it be a mechanical redness whenever I masturbate or anything ?

Also, I am seen 5 general practitioner, 2 dermatologists that told me that there was nothing to worry about and did not even prescribe any cream, should I doubt those diagnostics ?

    Hi!

I have the same situation, and I'm afraid that this could be a form of lichen.

    My history is very long.

    In short:

    • 2019 - Acute balanitis, treated with antifungals

-2020 penis starts to dry out, but not in an extreme way

    • 2021 dry penalty
    • 2022 less dry but sticky

I have been to 13 doctors with NO RESULTS

    I tried:

    • antibiotics, antifungals, emollient creams of all types, three types of cortisone cream.

    ZERO RESULTS

Because of a cortisone cream I was even much worse, having had a bad skin reaction.

I went to a lichen sclerosus expert who said I did NOT have lichen, nor any other pathology.

However, I am not well and I am unable to get back as healthy as I used to be. I do not know what to do.

The only thing to do would be a BIOPSY.

But no doctor wants to do it for me.

What is strange is that I have been dealing with this problem for over a year now (that I realized it but it was probably there for a long time before that). And it still hasn't changed since that time. I have seen several other dermatologists and expressly talked about lichen sclerosus to all of them. Saying that it was often misdiagnosed and could start with mild redness. and still they tend to rule out this avenue.

At some point I wonder if its not always been like this and that I am overthinking it.
