A few days ago i noticed a spot on my lower outer labia, i ignored it assuming it was a stress spot. A few days later (today) ive swelled and has become sore. The area feels almost semi solid. Theres no itchiness, no odd smells.

Im 18, not sexually active and i dont use any medications. Hope i can get some advice thankyou!

The most likely cause is a small abcess or a folliculitis if you remove hair from the area. Sometimes the gland that lubricates the vagina can block and cause a lump just inside (bartholins cyst) .As long as you are systemically well, ie no fever, mucle aches etc and you have no vaginal discharge I would recommend heat compresses over the area for next few days. If it is getting bigger or you develop any other symptoms see your doctor.

I second what macolbourne just said. Folliculitis is not necessary an infection, it can be just inflammation or irritation. Don't shave. That can cause you to lose epithelial cells and you can get bumps and inflammation from that. Moist heat, keep clean, you could try an antibiotic cream on the spot.
