Problems with your Penis " Infections & Spots "

Posted , 3 users are following.

Hello All

It has been a while that I have posted anything on here but I feel it's time.

Over the last 6 month's there has been a lot of men having problem with spot's and infections showing up on there penis. Why is this happening now. When I was younger I never heard of them and me and my sons never had any of these problems.

It may be something like Prostate Problems. That was never talked about in our Father's time

There are to many to talk about so I'm only going to talk about a couple right now.

First sometimes men can get red spots on the penis. They can be from poor hygiene or a minor irritation. Most of the time they are nothing 2 or 3 days they can go away. But there are some red spots that are more serious. A STI They will last longer and you should see a doctor as soon you can.

The other one I want to talk about is the white spots. White spots are most of them are Pearly Penile Popules which are harmless. 20 % of men will get them. They will go away by there self. Sometimes they can be mistaken for genital warts. You also cannot spread them to anyone.

There is no know cause for them and are more common in uncircumcised men. Younger men are the ones that get these most. Guy's in there 20's or 30's. There is also no cure for them. You can have a laser procedure but what man want to have a laser to there penis. Also I read that some of the stuff that they say you can use will make them worse.

Well this is it for today. The only other thing that I want to said is keep yourself clean and if you do engage in sex use a condom to protect you and your partner. And if you do get something that comes up all of a sudden and does not go away in a week see a doctor.

Take care & Be Safe.....Ken

Welcome back Ken, as you say there is a constant 'supply' of Men coming on here with various spots and stuff - and yes, we can only speculate why there is spate of irritated penile skin causing spots to show up. Then of course there are the natural ones such as PPP and Fordyce Spots, and then I recently learned about Parafrenular Glands from someone posting here in the MH / PD Forum. And yes, I knew relatively nowt about these naturally occurring things, or even the impact of fungal and bacterial infections on the penis, when I started on here over a year ago.

Do feel feel free to chip in and respond to some of the Forum Posts as it takes quite a time commitment from me to get through all the ones I feel I have sufficient knowledge to respond to ....

    Best Regards - WD

      Hello my Friend

Thank you. I have been on and have been replying to some of the men but I had problem for the last 15 days I was not getting any e-mail. I finely got through to one of the monitors Alan and he was able to fix the problem.

I do get a lot of private messages and I do answer and keep in touch with them. Yes I feel that there are a lot of the men getting these things on there penis. I never had a problem and really never heard of them I'm 63 and I guess I took care of my self and watch what I was doing.

But there are so many infection out there today that these kids need to go to a doctor if it does not go away in a week. Parents are not talking with there kids for some reason. I have 2 sons and a daughter. My daughter always came to me. I would answer her what I could but I would send her to her mother but she always came back to me. She is 37 and still does.

My 2 sons 36 & 33 When they had a question I was there When they started puberty at 12 & 13 if they wanted to know some thing I answered it. I did not want them to go through what I went through. My parents were older when I was born in 55. I started puberty at 9 had a full mustache at 9 1/2. I had hair coming out all over. When I went to my parents and ask questions I was told to don't worry about it. I did not know what masturbation was till I was 15. A lot of wet dreams

I wish parents would just talk with there kids. I'm here for anyone that need help

      All the best...Ken

Fully endorse everything you say Ken, and yes I will soon be 63 too, an August child. Hope you don't take offence, but was reminded of a 60's song, may have been a certain B. Dylan's - " ' where yave all the prostate problems gone ..... long time passing ' " - but maybe they found a site that gave the input or responses they thought better suited them, or whatever ..... ???

So yes, I had a few posts where men had distinct signs of glands either side of the Frenulum, and they did not like like Tysons Glands, so a really helpful guy said they were actually Parafrenular Glands, so I looked them up for images, and sure, that is what they were!

I have loads of links on my web browser for images and descriptions for particular conditions, and what to do about them - only takes me 3+ hours a day to get through all the Forum responses I respond to. I am retired due to ill health, so have 'a little spare time'. I have had penis problems since I was 15 or so, and still do, so I try to look at things I have gone through and try to help other males based on that.

One of my Forum replies was deleted by a Moderator last week ,and my initial though was to delete my account, instead I contacted the Mods on here and they said they would reinstate it - 2 days later still no sign of it, so I reposted it myself - of course it went straight to Moderation, but this time it was reinstated when I pointed out the error. So yes, I keep many of my responses in simple text files and then eventually delete them. Just shows the things you have to do on here ........

      Hey Buddy

Did not get this. Sorry I am getting back to you so late. I remember the 60's songs to ( GOOD ONES ). But I grow up in Detroit. Not far from Motown. My 2 older sister went to school with the 2 original Supremes. I still have all my 45 from the day.

Going to have to look up that about the glands. I did see that a few days ago. Glad they put in back on. Hope the guy you did it for can get some help.

I have been trying to answer some of the guys. I also get some PM from some of the men on here to. I help when I can.

I like you am retired but my problem is I can't sleep most nights so I'm up all night. Like today. It's after 7 am and have not been to bed yet. Maybe later.

If I can help someone I'm here for them

      All the best.....Ken

The actual original song I was rather tenuously referring to was one of the 60's protest song's - I think linked to the "Flower Power Generation" it was titled "Where Have All The Flowers Gone" and it was co-written, actually, by Joan Baez and Bob Dylan. Today, we could ask what has happened to all the radical youth who were prepared to take to the streets and say things should not be as they are now???

I know we are straying form penile health issues, but Motown, wow!! I grew up with the Beatles, then got to Rock music then progressive-rock - but along the way I was into soul, disco, jazz-funk and so on. I still love the early Motown hits and still today buy Stevie Wonder CD's that I don't have. And your sister's links with the Supremes, even more wow!!!

      .

Now back to health: have you ever tried yoga Ken? There was a period in my life where I was extremely stressed and I would only get between 1 1/2 and 3 hours reasonably restful sleep a night. One of the things I did was to go to yoga - it may not have helped a great deal with additional hours of sleep, but my body, and in particular my mind was a great deal healthier because of it. I had 10 years of workplace stress and in the end my ability to think straight gave way - funny enough, in terms of physical health i had never been fitter, and I was lifting greater weights at the time than I had ever done.

      .

To link the tenuous link with protest and penile health, and one of the conditions I have is Lichen Sclerosus and this has now been agreed as an Autoimmune condition by international medics. Of course, this is linked to diet and one of the problems our UK NHS (National Health Service) faces is that it is chronically underfunded, therefore it raises public information campaigns on particular issues, such as obesity, as this is where much of the burden placed on the care system originates (along with many other issues, obviously). Smoking used to be a major burden, but many people have quit or now vape instead, but many young people, and in particularly young women who have children still smoke cigarettes and of course this impacts in several ways on their children.

Unfortunately, while it is known that there are 80+ Autoimmune conditions successive UK government's have been loath to restrict the growth of 'unhealthy foods' and the subsequent, often international food companies that produce the unhealthiest of these food products.

In addition, international pharmaceutical companies have such a firm hold over all westernised counties governments, as have medical technology companies, so in simple terms, collectively, governments do not have the health interests of their populations as their main priorities. This is merely sacrificed for the profiteering in as many different ways by a relative few international conglomerates (such as Monsanto, and suchlike) to the detriment to the majority of the population of the majority of countries in which they operate.

Indeed, on this topic there is a rather interesting historical perspective on one of the other Forums on this site that I regularly contribute to, take a look at it, rather interesting to say the least:

      Good Morning

Yes I did know what you were talking about. I did listen to a lot of different music not just Motown. A lot of good artist came out of Motown. I did like the blues to

Never got into yoga. But I do know it does help you relax. Which I try to do because stress is not good for you or your body. I think people are to much in a rush. They to not take there time with anything. They move forward and think about the outcome after.

Like having sex. I know when you are in the mood and you get into the grove you don't thing before you act. That condom is a must. You can't just think about getting off and the enjoyment from it.

I enjoy reading many different thing ans I will look into the links you put on here.

We should learn as much as we can because because we never know down the line if it will help us or someone we know.

      All the best...Ken
