Progesterone problems

I'm on Femoston 1/10, been on it 2months now. Everything good until second week of progesterone. I still have my womb so need the progesterone but wondered if anyone has tolerated it better and how?

Hi I am not familiar with Femoston but I take progesterone through a Mirena coil. I have had one for 14 years (they are changed every 5 years) I used this initially as contraception(and still do) but it also serves as my progesterone whilst I am on HRT patches. I have had very little trouble with it and no periods for 14 years as this is one of the benefits of Mirena. It is not for everyone, and is not pleasant having it fitted or changed but it is over in a couple of minutes and for me it is worth it as I suffered with heavy periods and bad period pain.  I have had very few side effects with it, some spotting with my first one and a little spotting when changed but that's it.

Zoe, I'm interested in your coil.  How is it that it puts off progesterone for 5 years?   I've never heard of this.
