Progress

Thought I'd just 'share'.

I can now walk for 1/2 an hour without sticks or rollator.  If I go out alone though I still take my 'rolli'.  I feel safer, I can sit down whenever I want.  I try to find a bit of sun or, if not, I find the nearest cafe.  Use my husband instead of sticks at other times.😃

Can we have some more progress/improvement stories, please.

Now that's good!  I used to use my husband, too, but I'm too slow for that now, I can sense how frustrated he gets, so the rollator is better.  I'm thinking I will have to upgrade soon to one with a seat (and tea-making facilities) but will wait till next year.  On the progress front, my new hip is doing a first-class job now.

Hee Hee!  "tea-making facilities".  Has anyone any money?  We could start manufacturing the next generation rollators.

Perhaps we could start rallies as well?  Although I think I would be disqualified as I don't actually NEED mine any more - it's just my 'confidence booster'.

So often lose mine in garden centres and department stores.  Forget I'm an old woman and shoot of somewhere.  It takes me ages to find it sometimes!🏃

Don't worry I am only 57 and three years ago during a flare up left my stick in a shop.At the next shop I realised something was wrong i.e. no stick.Luckily the lady at the till in the previous store still had it.I felt a right idiot

I think I'm getting a bit worried at the thought of all these galloping grannies, discarding their husbands, and drinking tea while gallivanting around on motorised roller skates hunting for lost sticks! lol

But who am I to stand in the way of progress. Forget my worries. Soon you won't need sticks. lol

Apart from taking to people who try to be funny on forums! smile
