prolapse

Hello,
I need some info please Im so worried. I have an appointment tomorrow to see the doctor but I was hoping someone could help ease my mind until then.
I have had a few BV symptoms over the past 6 months and been on antibiotics twice and I have just now realized I have a prolapse. I am not sure how long i have had it but I have been constipated for about 6-8weeks.
I was just at the doctor and had a pap smear they prescribed antibiotic for BV but I have been feeling a lump for a while, I mentioned it to the doctor but they didn't see it.
Now that antibiotics are working i can clearly see a bulge and when I feel inside I feel a hard lump right inside my vagina and it feels numb.
It almost feels like my vagina is closing up! Im so worried. I have not given birth for many years but was recently on pain killers before this started .
I have no pain, no itching no bleeding , no uncomfortable feeling except that inside it feels hard, numb and not right. Is this normal for a prolapse? It looks like my vulva is stcking out but not sure. It has a little penis shape thing on the end of it? The skin next to this in the front of my vagina is what I'm worried about as it is hard and numb.
Are these normal prolapse symptoms?

As far as something hard and numb, I had all the prolapses and none were hard or numb. Good luck and I hope you get your answers.

Hi Katie, I am not a dr but I have that hard thing that your talking about and I believe it is your cervix. You may have a uterine prolapse. Like I said, I'm not a dr. I have been to a urologist and he confirmed uterine prolapse, cystocele, and rectocele. I have heard that the best dr to se when you have a prolapse is a urogynecologist so I have a appointment at the end of this month. I do have some mild pain at times like a raw or burning feeling. I have to pee a lot. I feel very full with some pressure. I can also feel like I have a tampon in that has fallen.
