Prolapse

I recently felt a lump at the back of my vagina, I went and saw a Nurse Practitioner who did all the usual test, made me cough, she said that she is almost certain I have a small bowel prolapse because she thought she had pushed it back, she couldnt see it after she looked with the speculum, it was to painful for her to carry on, so she has booked me in on the 9th Jan to see another lady GP.

Is it normally hard to see a prolapse, I could most certainly feel a lump at the back of my vagina, I have had a hysterectomy, so no cervix, any one thats also had this it would be nice to hear from you, as I worry.

      Thank you Laura.

Yes I could feel it myself, and the NP could feel it with a gloved hand, but when she used the speculum she couldnt see it so she said I think I have pushed it back, I dont know much about this sort of thing, but do you think she could have pushed it back, it didnt feel that soft to me, not the sort of thing I like doing but I suppose we should check these things.
