I have been diagnosed by the GP with a vaginal Vault, I am waiting for a hospital appointment, can this happen in weeks, because this has happened pretty fast for me, I have lost a lot of weight could this have caused it.
I am 77 anyone the same sort of age that has experienced this.

Have you had a hysterectomy at some time in the past? Sometimes this can be the cause. If you have suddenly lost a lot of weight maybe your muscle tone in the pelvic floor is not too good.

It was a vaginal vault prolapse I was diagnosed with. Coincidentally I had just lost approx 5st when I noticed it. I've never asked if that could have caused it.
