I recently discovered i have had {still to be diagnosed but positive} two prolapses, cystocele and rectocele, stage 2-3. i recently had a miscarriage a few months back before finding out i had the prolapses. did that contribute to my miscarriage? will i no longer be able to have another baby?

from personal experience it didnt affect my ability to get or stay pregnant and the general advice is not to do anything about it surgically until after you have finished having your children as it may undo the operation and a repair is less likely to have a good result. You need to seek medical advice however as they may wish to advise re delivery of any future pregnancy. It is also important to see a specialist to get expert input to strengthen your pelvic floor and other management approaches such as a pessary. Good luck

I am sorry for your loss.
Miscarriages occur in about 1 in 4 pregnancies. Usually due to chromosomal abnormalities. I seriously doubt your prolapses had anything to do with the miscarriage.
Future pregnancies are definitely possible but will potentially worsen your prolapses. Firstly see a gynae to get a proper diagnosis. Also see a good women's health physio to plan a programme to help strengthen your pelvic floor asap. Surgery is generally not recommended till after you have finished having children.
