It's normal. I'm nearly 3 months post cysto and recto. and when i over do it i swell. Imagine the nerves in that area and also how small it is. A bit of swelling will feel like it has a major impact. I'm giving myself 6 months min..but 18 months overall to feel well again. That's how long it took for me to feel okay after the birth of my child which led to the need for this surgery in the first place. Your body is amazing. Surgery is incredible but we need to give it time

That odour is bad but will get better as weeks go on.
Its the body dissolving the stitches and the fluids from the surgery.
Just shower twice a day as not much else you can do.
It's normal and does go in time.x
