I saw the Gynaecologist today and he recommended a procedure in which the two walls of the vagina be stitched together in order that the womb cannot descend any further. apparently the wall of my vagina has dropped. it will be a day bed job so it seems to be a simple operation. my question is has anyone had this type of procedure and if so was the outcome satisfactory.

The only comment I have is ...Do you wish to remain sexually active? You dont say how old you are. If you do then please say this to your consultant. Sometimes it means the vagina is closed, and sexual intercourse impossible. Make sure your consultant explains exactly what he intends to do.

thank you for that. My consultant did explain this and at my age i am happy with this. My fingers are crossed that I come out of this without any other problems arising.
