Prolonged Use of Zopiclone

Posted , 2 users are following.

I've been taking Zopiclone for the last 5 weeks for chronic insomnia. I'm careful about the dosage mainly having a quarter of a tab at night. I try to have 2 of 3 tab free nights a week and my sleep is awful. Is it ok to carry on as I am. Having a decent nights sleep several times a week is more important to me than the prolonged usr of Zopiclone

Zopiclone seems to be a regular sleeping aid.  The standard tablets I bought OTC in Spain are 7.5mg.   Is this the size you are breaking into 4 parts?

I appreciate drugs can be addictive but I guess as you get very old (like me) you worry less and less about that as the horizon is fast approaching anyway!  The obligatory leaflet inside your packet will give you guidance on normal dose and, in great detail, the potential side effects.  They have to do that by law but you can make up your own mind!

Yes your right and it's more important get some decent sleep. I managed without a tablet last night. It still took ages to drop off but then got about 5 hrs uninterrupted sleep
