Had R TKR last Aug. No issues been fab. Noticed now weather warmer thinking of wearing culottes that I seem to have raised veins on outer aspect of knee about 3 inches from scar. They look whitish. Just wondered if anyone else had this. My knee is throbbing but am more active. Still can't bear kneeling on it though. It's not painful as such just feels weird and unpleasant.

My right knee was done 7 years ago, still feels funny when get down on my knee. I think it will never feel normal again due to the numbness from the severed nerve, and because my knee cap is all bone and the implants are metal. It doesn't hurt, but it's a very unpleasant feeling. My left knee was replaced last July, unfortunately, I am having revision surgery on it the 20th of this month. Anyway, the first 6 months after having it done, the veins in my leg seemed to bulge and throb like there was a blockage in circulation or something. That finally went away and now they don't stick out or throb anymore. Hope yours gets better.
