Propanolol and Hemp oil capsules

Hi everyone, I have been on propranolol 10mg per day since august 2017 after I got glandular fever which sent my anxiety through the roof. I was therefore prescribed propanolol. I have been taking it daily since then. Touch wood my anxiety is now normal. The glandular fever caused be to go hypothyroid so I am also on levothyroxine 100mg. I take that soon as I wake up and the propranolol around 7-10 hours later on. I have recently bought a bottle of hemp oil pills from amazon, Ive just took my first one now around four hours after the propanolol. My intention is to make the hemp oil a propranolol replacement in the near future but for now can anyone advise me whether its okay to take both. Obviously not together but at different times

I would ask your pharmacist... but would avoid. Take either or, IMO.

Any drug metabolized by CYP450 enzymes could potentially interact with cannabidiol. According to the Indiana University Department of Medicine, drugs known to use the CYP450 system include:

    Steroids

    HMG CoA reductase inhibitors

    Calcium channel blockers

    Antihistamines

    Prokinetics

    HIV antivirals

    Immune modulators

    Benzodiazepines

    Antiarrythmics

    Antibiotics

    Anesthetics

    Antipsychotics

    Antidepressants

    Anti-epileptics

    Beta blockers********

    PPIs

    NSAIDs

    Angiotension II blockers

    Oral hypoglycemic agents

    Sulfonylureas

I just got prescribed Propranolol, so did some reading... are you happy with it?

I take CBD oil, and I think I just got an anxiety reaction from mixing that with antihistamines... might have just eben my 2 day fast and dehydration... but... be careful!
