Anyone had any experience with this?

Its apparently derived from bees and has the potential to speed healing?

I've mentioned it a few times on here, since it's supposed to be good, yet nobody ever talks about it. I have some at home, but haven't tried it that much, so I don't know how effective it is. Was going to save it more for outbreaks rather than at other times. Sounds better than lysine, imo.

One thing to note. I tried oral/dietary prop0lis on a bump and it stained my underwear horribly, lol. Didn't come out even after being handwashed and laundered! Guess you need the proper ointment version (might be better, but I'm not sure), otherwise wear dark panties!!

I am suffering my first outbreak, and the pain is beyond description. I've researched treatments to make it end quicker, and tea tree oil and manuka raw honey are tauted as miracle healing treatments. I have been applying the honey several times a day since Friday, and I think it's working, as in its not getting worse. The both burn like hell, but the honey makes it bearable. I was also told to take 50000 MG of D for three days, which I did. I've been suffering for about 13 days now, I'm scared it will never go away. Google the honey, doctors say it works better than the presciption cream they give you. I hope this helps.

Have you tried soaking in Epsom bath salts? A lot of people here seem to rate it highly. I haven't tried it myself, as I couldn't find any at the time, so just used warm water and tea tree oil (I absolutely love tea tree oil, btw!).

Does the tea tree oil burn you? I'm scared to sit in a bath, I'm afraid the herpes floating around in the water will infect the rest of my body. I know that sounds completely ridiculous, but I've seen too many pictures now and it is horrifying the damage this can inflict. The tea bags are soothing for me.

I must admit that I only bought tea tree oil towards the middle of my outbreak (but others have used it early on), which nevertheless helped with the itching and made everything feel nice and soothingly cool down there. I'd even use it if I didn't have GH, now that I've discovered it!

Anyway, it can kind of "burn" a little at first, especially if too concentrated and when you're not used to it, so start weak (add water to a cotton pad) and find your comfort level.

Loads of people have used Epsom salts and not spread the virus to other parts, so it should be fine. Herpes doesn't live long outside of the body nor in chlorinated/soapy water, and tap water is chlorinated whilst the salts are likely not conducive to HSV. Also, you can always soak only your privates in a small plastic tub vs your whole body in the bathtub.
