I'm on 10mg propranolol twice a day and just been prescribed 5mg citalopram but I dont dare take them together the pharmacist said they will be fine but I'm scared taking them both together will cause a reaction has anyone been on them both please

you are on a low dose of citalopram. There are people who are on 20 mg of citalopram and take it with the propranolol.
every medication will have some side effects taken alone or together with another medication. The side effects eventually wear off but it does take a good 4 to 6 weeks for your body to get used to new medication.
keep in contact with your doctor if you decide to take them together and just take one day at a time. Your doctor can always adjust the dosage or try something else. Take care
