I have been given Propranolol after being diagnosed as having SVT but my resting heart rate is now dropping to around 54bpm is that ok?

In addition to the lower resting heart rate, have you found the Propranolol to be helpful in stopping or preventing SVT episodes? I was offered it as an option, but curious to hear if it is worth taking.
