Propranolol makes me feel empty

Hey yall!

I recently started taking Propranolol, which I take 10mg twice a day for Mitral Valve Prolapse and as a starter med for anxiety. The medicine does wonders for my heart, but it's started to affect my mood, i.e I've become less talkative and I feel like I'm always so boring around my significant other. He says that this is my body just becoming adjusted to it because I've only been taking it for 6 days and that I should return to my normal self soon. But I'm worried that I won't and I'm worried that it'll do me more harm with my mood than good.
