I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer... My Gleason is 8 been having Lower back pain, does that automatic mean that the cancer has spreaded??

I would say no not necessarily. You will need a bone scan to look for spread. The higher the Gleason the more likely, but I've heard of people with Gleason 10 with no spread, the back could be completely unrelated. Wishing you all the best.

Thanks, just had my bone scan yesterday can't get the results until 2 weeks. It's not fun waiting

Not necessarily take it step by step get the tests done and decide on the best outcome for yourself.
Family are the key don't hide things be open and fight together. Listen to your doctor not some retrorockets you may come across on this site.
