The Times article yesterday gave the NHS price at under £600 so I imagine that this version must use reusable laser rods or a different technique. The original version needed a new rod each time and a second for a very large prostate.
Privately it was costing around £6k.

We both know the downside of this archaic treatment, you have been banging on about it for years on this forum.
Remind everyone about your Urolift and I had PAE, both alternative and non-invasive treatments with few side effects if any.

I have had 4 heart Caths and soon a 5th. If you have not had, nothing to it. If no stint, I have had lunch on the way home. If you have a stint, normally a night in hospital as a precaution. I am trying to get in for a PAE but time consuming as the new HIPA rules no longer let you pick up your records and cause long waits. I am asuming a PAE is more or less like a heart cath but with some short term side effects. Seems far less invasive and potential serious side effects from most alternatives.
Good Luck.
