Prostatis and cures?

I'm 25 years old and have been dealing with bacterial prosattis for 3 years I recently have become well versed in how this whole thing works. Tried multiple different kinds of medicine that have been effective. About 6 months ago I had an alcohol binge that I sorely regret now because it brought on the worst symptoms I had yet to experience with no real relief from any medicine. I recently took levoquin which seemed to fix things and my last prostate exam came back with no infected fluid. Yet symptoms have came and went. At this point I have stopped drinking 100% stopped smoking 100% I run swim lift weights along with healthy diet, gut shots, bee pollen quercetin the whole 9 yards, still yet to feel constant results... I'm not willing to give up yet and accept this. There has to be an answer. Maybe someone out there has found something that works? I am very hopeful and will not stop. I visit my urologist twice a month I most recently suggested an ultrasound to hopefully get to the bottom of this once and for all. People please let me know what you have found to be effective. I can't and won't accept there is nothing. Thank you.

      Off and on. It's not terribly painful just discomfort. Most annoying part is the sexual disfunction that's associated with. It seems like anytime I have a massage it feels better but symptoms typically return not too long after. I have had periods of time during this when I didn't realize it was serious and took the 5 to six months for granted that I was clear and that's when I revert to my ways of binge drinking and smoking.

    I have only had it since February had a digital exam and the prostate was 30-40g should be between 20-30g. I was placed on trimethoprim for a month then a 2 week break then 2 weeks more trimethoprim. I have adapted my lifestyle lost weight, gym, cut down alcohol, stoped smoking and stopped caffeine plus introduced saw palmetto. Have 1 good 1 bad week at present and have another appointment on Thursday. I'm hoping I can get it sorted

      Don't rely on the digital exam being accurate. I was told by my GP and 3 different urologist my prostate was under 50 cc 2 uros even said around 30 cc. CT scan revieled its 120 cc

      Let me know how that goes! I'm curios as I have not tried that for treatment. Thnakyou

      Hi Dillon

      Went back to the consultant today and he has referred me for a CT scan of abdomen to check if there are any other reasons behind my back pain, kidney stones, slipped disc etc so had kidney function bloods done and CT scan to follow in 2 weeks

      Let's see

    I have had prostatis off and on for 30 years but it never just a real severe probleml as of this date.  It raises my PSA score by up to 2 pts. I take around of antibotics and it drops back down.  I talked to a guy the other day who stated he had a real bad attack way back in 1973 and they put him in the hospital and did what he called a Betadine flush. He stated they put him to sleep and the next day he checked out of the Hosp. with 10 day supply of antibotics. Stated he has never had another problem since then. Just another example of what individuals try.

      Thanks that's one I have never heard of definitely sounds like it is worth asking about.

    It sounds like you need to visit A DIFFERENT urologist.
