Prostitis or something else

For the last 5 days I have had the urge to urinate all the time and constant ache above my penis and a mild ache in my back passage.

Out of hours GP said my prostrate was firm and to take the antibiotics for 28 days.

The pain and urgency to go has come on quick but I am a worryer

    What age are you and have you had a PSA test yet?

      I am 40 years old and no I havent had that test. I am urinating all the time with just dribble

      If you haven't seen your doctor then that is your first port of call and whilst there do insist on a psa test. It will give you an essential bench mark for the future and give an indication about possible prostate cancer now.

      first of all go and see your gp it could just be a urine infection

      Only marker that came back CRP blood test that was done in A and E which was 13
