Protein in urine/bad taste in mouth

OK. So here we go. I suffer with reflux and take 30mg lansoprazole each day. Earlier this year I started with heavy palpitations, bloating and pain stomach. BP diastolic high too.

Bloods showed lowered blood count, lowered vit D and raised CT125 for ovarian cancer which turned out to be fibroids.

A month ago I drank a lot of water quickly for my scan of ovaries. Felt awful but better later.

Since then I have had a metallic taste in mouth, nausea constantly, some lower cramps in stomach and fatigue. Noticed the other day my urine was dark orange - doc said there was protein in urine and after tests there are no infections.

I have mild ache in back which could be muscular but feel awful. The nausea is rotten and taste in mouth worse. Doc said not related to protein in urine but not convinced. Doubled lansoprazole to 30mg twice daily but only helped slightly. Did have some burping to begin with which had eased but taste still bad. Could this be kidney problems? Average BP is 135/95.

    hi Christine.......... all the symptoms sound like End Stage Kidney Disease doesnt it....,  my Mother had very similar symptoms and we thought she was dying because we knew which symptoms to look for, so we called the Ambulance and when she got to hospital they did tests and we were shocked to discover that the Burping and the mild back pain, the nausea and the extreme muscle aches , and the tiredness were due to a Call Bladder problem........... but so strangely her gall bladder was removed 30 years ago but the Duct still rpduced some painful stones that eventual infalmed her liver............ your symptoms are so similar, hic cups can be a sign of kidney disease, but burping is more of a Gall bladder problem, get your doctor to investigate your gall bladder

    Thanks for reply. I dragged myself back to doctors this morning and saw a different doctor. He is sending me for an urgent endoscopy (within two weeks) to see what's going on. He mentioned cancer but only because he has to put this on the form to get me seen urgently. Poss h-pylori?!?!

    apparently protein was only slightly raised. 

    No hiccups and only burping after food which isn't much as I just can't eat at the moment. 

    I will look up gall bladder problems to see if symptoms match. Thanks again for reply. I slept all day yesterday and all night. Feel like I am just getting weaker all the time.
