I recently had a visit with my primary care physician, who told me my BMI was a little low. nothing to be concerned about - but i am a skinny guy. 5'10/11 and barely scraping 135. Dr. told me to increase my protein intake, and having already moderately active lifestyle i should begin to see natural muscle gain in the coming months without really changing things up or implementing a workout.
I trust my Dr but is there any truth to this? will the results be noticeable or will it just look like im gaining weight?
