Proteinuria

Hello, I'm 56 years old. I have 3A CKD with protein in my urine and no other major illnesses. They gave me a 2.5 ACE (Lisinopril) for starters. No one told me to eat low protein but I am. I generally at vegan anyway, which is why I probably lasted so long without symptoms. Five years ago, I noticed that I could not tolerate alcohol. And recently I noticed that I could not tolerate salt. So I am also sticking to a low sodium diet. I will get a kidney biopsy in about 8 months or sooner. Anyway here with the same issues. Apparently this is only going to progress...just wondering how fast and what others might have experienced.

    i am 66 and have the same problem but am on medication for high blood pressure and diet controlled diabetes . Waiting to have another blood test in two weeks trying to loose a few pounds , and looking into seeing a nephrologist.
