Prozac not working anymore? Help!

Hi,
My uncle has been diagnosed with PTSD a while ago and he has been taking Prozac for long time. He is living with my grandparents and they told my mom and me that his behavior is changed, like Prozac is not working anymore. Also, they said he has trouble moving, like he is in stupor and has been laying in beds for hours, and his moods are changing often. Is it possible that Prozac is not "working" anymore?

Proactive can stop working as can any drug. Get your uncle to see his doctor. He may need a second opinion or a new drug or maybe none but we're not doctors.

In my opinion it sounds like he's drinking alcohol. I found that also might be a reason for the stupor:
And might not the Prozac interfer with alcohol? Already in small amounts maybe? Because my grandparents say they don't see him drinking.
I think they would recognise it :o
