hi ive been on prozac 20mg for years and its been increased to 40mg just over 3 weeks ago.I don't feel any better and im still shaky but I know thats a side effect.how long before I feel better and how long will side effects last.any help would be appreciated

Hi Shorty. How long you take to feel better and by what degree will very much depend on your own situation but generally starting prozac or changing dose can take up to 6-8 weeks to take effect. Give it a few weeks more and see how you feel and if no change or you feel worse, discuss with your doctor.
