Prozak....does it help with anxiety and dizziness ? Need some feedback please...

My psychiatrist wants to wean me off zoloft and start taking prozak cause I told her I haven't had any anxiety attacks but still deal with everyday dizziness. Any experiences with this medication would help....

Just looking for some feedback from everyone who has taken prozak.

Thanks in advance.

I tried it... I know people that it helped for anxiety, but not dizziness. My experience was different. I was prescribed it for OCD. It made me think about killing myself, I was scared of everyday objects, it really screwed with my head. I have never thought of suicide before... I then tried Lexapro and it worked great for me.

Thanks for the reply....I have never taken prozak but my psychiatrist said the Zoloft I was taking was causing my dizziness even though I told her I had dizziness before starting Zoloft but tried prozak and have been taking it for almost 2 weeks and don't see any difference than what the Zoloft does so will proble go back to Zoloft.

Dizziness can be caused by a few things but most commonly trapped fluid in the ear or ears. I have had this most of my life. If you had the dizziness previously as you said then I would not change medications. Good luck
