Prune juice

SOmeone asked about prune juice the other day. I’m reading the foods to avoid from the dr whilenon a low res diet and prunes and prune juice are to be avoided.

    During an attack for sure but not as a long term preventative diet as the secret to holding back future episodes is keeping your bowels moving which prune juice would be good for.

    Yes only during a flare up it should be avoided. But as the other post said once cleared fibre and prune juice should be resumed. Do not get constipated!

      Need to rest your bowel to allow it to heal. As the other post said you don’t want much activity on the opening bowels front!

    When you are in a flare up they want your bowels to rest so low fiber soft foods

    I ask that Jan, why are we to avoid it prune juice did it give a reason?  Where do I find this Dr List?  I need all the help I can get . The fiber powders make my sugar drop! I got to figure what the heck am I going to do for fiber and has the fiber kept you all away from flares or infections?
