Pseudo Gout and laser treatment

Anyone had experience with laser treatment (such as Bioflex pads or class IV laser) ?

I have used laser for many years and suspect it might be a good approach to helping to stabilize the condition and reduce swelling. This seems to be a non systemic condition in many instances, so laser may be be an reasonable option.

I've never heard of that. Is it done with regular doctors, or is it an alternative? How many treatments does it take, and what are costs?

I’m afraid that gout and pseudogout are *systemic* conditions in every case.

Gout is caused by the gradual build up of a chemical in the blood. While a laser could perhaps treat individual joints, I can’t see how it can possibly impact the disease.

Ok, I have now read the research - and laser - seems to be successful in treating gout symptoms in patients’ joints.

However the long-term solution is to control the blood irate. If a patient is relying on a laser or anything else to control gout flares, they are heading to an early grave.
