hello! i want to know if someone is having their breast' s areolas puffy and their breasts are bigger and painful. my breasts are painful for a couple of months already, did scans, mammo and a ct with contrast substance and apart from some "normal" nodules everything is fine. my areolas look puffy. my left breasts is the one causing the bigger pain, the pain radiates on my arm, ribs, elbow.

This is me most days. Although it's hard for me to notice if my breasts are swollen since I'm big-breasted anyway. But I can identify with the sore left breast, radiating to my arm, rib on that side and sometimes to the back. It is hormonal. I have heard of several of the women on here mention it. Try using evening primrose oil it helps a lot with sore breast issues. I use it and it helps me.

thank you for the messages and for your support. i need to clarify, the breasts' areolas are also puffy? i am trying to lose some weight and see if they are getting smaller. i gained like 12 kg in the last 16 months and looks like all are on my breasts, tummy and tights. i am always thinking I have lyme, that peri cannot cause such pain and discomfort, but I have to admit that i am feeling a lot better than a year ago when all this started, so I imagine it has to be peri.

some days the pain is less intense. i started taking evening primrose to help. i found the pain has subsided a little but its still hurts😣. my nipples are large to begin with but oddly i never get the pain around them. only the left side boob and underarm where i have no muscle tone😕

hey, gilly! same here, no pain in my nipple area, the only part is that the brown part around my nipples is puffy. The pain is only on the side and underarm mostly, left part and sometimes i feel like a pressure and burn in both of them, but it doesnt last for long. as told before, my pain all over is not intense as last year. my periods are not as before also, comes every 23 days or 40 days apart. my hormone tests are normal, i just hope is peri and not lyme. no one told me that peri or meno can be so painful and make my life a truly hell. thank you for every message you wrote me, makes me feel way better to be able to exchange info with other women going through the same thing. stay safe and get better.

same here! the pain is worse around period time. but the pressure and puffy aspect lasts longer, starts 1.5 weeks before my period. i used to have them regulate, but for the last 3 months are either earlier or further apart and lasts longer than they used to be. for a period of time i also thought i might have lyme disease, but now I think it s just a rocky perimenopause. the problem is that my hormone tests and all the others are in normal range. i ve investigated all the auto immune. i have a bursitis, tendonitis, synovial liquid in the left elbow area, I noticed that i see blurry with my right eye. all this happened quiet sudden. i feel at least 20 years older, no energy, my sleep is bad. why? and most of all, when this is going to end? am i going to find my old self? have a sunny day! thank you for all your messages, helps me a lot to know someone is listening to me.
