Pulmonary embolism / DVT burping?

DVT in leg post ankle surgery. Blood thinners 16 days. 2 small PEs found 5 days in, but now gone. However, came with chest pain and "burping", and with this comes chest pain, especially when lay down. Been on Prilosec for 10 days... Don't really think this is acid reflux per say.

Primary care and blood doc have never seen so much "burping". Like 100 times in a day.

Anyone??? Had CT Scan this am in ER... No PEs, yet tonight again when I lay down the chest pain is intense. Stand up, move around, pain goes away.

Hard to say but sounds like acid reflux.  Have you tried a gastric diet and taking antacids like Diovol or tums?

Hiya yeah does sound like acid reflux to me... I had multi PE two years ago, and I’m on apixaban for life now, as they say can’t take the chance of it happening again..

About 3 years ago I was like you with the pain when lay down, got so much worse I didn’t know if I was comin or going with it... so I had to have a camera down in to my stomac, and was told it was acid there, as well as thrush in my stomach, so now I’m on two different meds, one for thrush and one for acid reflux, and I have to stay on them, Iv tried not to take them but the pain comes straight back..

Have you tried and anti acid meds to see if it works or not ? X
