Pulmonx-Zephyr Endobronchial Valve

Have been doing some reading and discovered this treatment is approved in 20 countries.  Not yet in US or Canada or Mexico.  Does anyone have any info or been part of the test group?

Day Surgery.  One Hour local anesthetic.  Look on website and you will learn all about it.  I called Pulmonx and they said they will hear from FDA this year ie. 2018.  I am in Canada so although this does not solve all of my situation, it sure helps.

So glad for you Darlene71896. I do hope you will be the recipient of this marvel. I have chronic bronchitis, so I do not know if it would apply to that - and I am a Senior and in America not much is done to help the elderly except put them in homes.  But I am happy to hear at least research and trials is available and many with emphysema now have hope.

No idea what information is provided in US, Canada or Mexico.  But if you search patient UK they could have information on it, or just basically google it followed by the the individual countries you have named.  You tube could be an optional search too smile

I spotted an application to USA FDA was presented in January this year.  Google it and see.
