Pulpitations

Posted ,

hi not sure were to start but looking for some sort of help as i dont seem to be getting much from the nhs. i have been having these weird pulpitations on and off for the last nearly year were it feels like my heart has stopped sometimes when i laugh my heart will skip also when i sometimes bend forward i can literally feel my heart pause when it goes tight and then il feel a beat. im scared of having a arrhythmia that could be life threatening i have a 1 year old daughter so im scared everyday for her sake. i have had a echocardiogram and a weeks heart monitor done 5 months ago my heart is structurally normal and my heart monitor results shew some sinus tachycardia and ectopic beats.

i was prescribed propranolol as it was thought that it may of been anxiety-related I only have been getting anxiety symptoms since getting these palpitations for the last 2-weeks my heart rate has gone from mid 80s taking the propranolol 2 now going to 58 maybe if I'm lucky 74 I've been taking the propranolol for the last 4 months because my heart was getting quite low I decided to miss a day to see if my heart rate will go back to normal after missing a day my heart rate was still stuck in the mid 50s I'm worried that whatever maybe happening could be getting worse i constantly calling up my doctors to try and get another monitor done and also get to see a cardiologist but the waiting time is not for another 3 months so I'm trying to see if anyone else maybe getting the sort of same symptoms
