MY SON HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ,CROHN'S DISEASE DID NOT SHOW IN HIS BLOOD TEST SO WAS IGNORED .THE ONLY WAY TO TELL WHEN HE HAS A FLARE UP IS A FECAL CALPROTECIN STOOLS TEST .

I haven't got a confirmed diagnosis yet but when my calprotectin has been raised and also at it's highest, my bloods were normal. Now, considering that I have a diagnosed, constantly active, repeatedly confirmed by biopsy, severe form of an inflammatory condition in addition to possible IBD, I don't trust the blood tests at all.
