PVCs

I'm 55. I've been having PVCs on and off for the last 4 years. For the past year they seem to be everyday. I had a nuclear stress test and it came back abnormal. Wound up being a false positive. Had a ctscan with contrast to verify. Dr. said if that comes back normal no need to go to cath lab. Showed no signs of CAD and my calcium score is 5.2 which is pretty much nothing so Dr. said all good. Had an ekg monitor for 2 weeks. Showed less that 1 percent pvcs. Dr. says I'm fine. I was on metoprolol which seemed to help but i gained 15lbs on it. I went to an EP and he took me off and put me on flecainide. I've been on it for a month. Seemed to help at first now i'm getting them pretty much all day. He wants to up the dosage but i'm going to try and work on other things first. I do have anxiety which seems to be a common underlying condition with a lot of the comments I'm reading. I noticed they started back consistently with a big move and taking care of my elderly father 5 years ago. Perhaps i'll try and get a hold of my anxiety and see if that helps. I've been to cognitive therapy for it before and now take lorazepam as needed . Might be time for me to take a closer look at treating the anxiety.
