hey all. I am no stranger to the PAC PVC world. I also have SVT and take verapamil daily. I have gone YEARS without any PVC or PAC and then as soon as i got sick with covid, bam!! I have had them every day since friday and my life is back to being complete crap. My anxiety and stress is through the roof because of them and i only have about 5 to 10 an hour But the way they make me feel like im just going to die really sucks. Then at the er they tell me i have 1st degree heart block probably caused by the verapamil. I called my cardiologist this morning and she made me stop taking the verapamil but cant see me til the 21st. She said the PVCs are covid related which is scary in its self. Has anyone else got covid and had an increase of irregular heart beats? Or has anyone got heart block that can help me understand it? thank you

most certainly from Covid ,,,mine started on the fourth day of Covid symptoms in March 2020 and never completely gone away currently iam having very bad episode started 4 months ago and still going ..i have never ever complained about my heart before covid and when i first felt Ectopics i didnt know what it was i thought it was coming from my stomach ...what iam sure of that covid caused me some sort of heart inflammation either myocarditis or precardities and this can mess up the heart conducting system...this is due to the immune system aggressive response in some people against covid because i remember i recovered in about 5 days but the inflammation in my body was too high which affected the heart ..those Ectopics making my life miserable...i had an appointment with an Electrophysiologist on the NHS and said if those Ectopics is coming from the ventricles he will ablate it but if it is coming from the atrium he will not ..still waiting for Holter monitor,,echo, stress test ...i have posted the same reply to another post

If the cardiologist didnt want to see you until the 21st, it means that the condition is nothing serious. COVID kills those who do not attend to the general health of the immune system.
