PVD causes eyestrain in same eye

I have a PVD happening in right eye (left one already complete) with an increase in floaters. They float across my vision causing a slight blur. My vision is still ok but I have to make more effort to see clearly. Now my eye aches and the forehead above feels strained. Has this happened to anyone and how do I treat it?

There is nothing you can do to treat it but it would be a good idea to have an optician examine your eyes now and then again in 3 months for comparison. If you suddenly lose your sight or your sight is a total blur you will need an ophthalmologist urgently. If you are in UK see an optician and ask for a copy of their report. If you think you need an ophthalmologist ask for an urgent appointment with your Gp who can refer you to the emergency eye clinic at your local hospital on the same day.
