hello im new to this forum. Started with pain around 6 months ago believe i have pvns in right knee. Going for an mri on monday with intravenious contrast. They think its diffused. Lets hope it gets diagnosed so treatment can start.@

    hi, sorry, but whats diffused,? im 3weeks after tkr and my knee seems to have locked, im walking with very stiff leg and scared its going to dislocate, am i just being paranoid

      Speak to your physio about it. All recoveries are different, but I think locking is unusual. Three weeks is really very early and you have a long way to go, but don't worry with patience physio, exercise and use of ice you will get there. Use your medication to control pain, don't 'be brave' and put up with pain you wont be doing yourself any favours.

      There is two kinds of pvns localised and diffused localised is one are where diffused is like a tree with branches spread in the joint.
