Q's about surgery and grating in armpit

Hello, calling my Surgeon in the morning and we are to schedule my armpit surgery. My HS is outta control. Can someone please tell me what to expect ? Time in the hospital, recovery at home?? How painful is it truthfully? I know what a dr will say but also know I can come here for an honest opinion smile. Any and all details would be appreciated. I have HS for over a decade, tried antibiotics, had multiple lancings, and have tried herbal relief. Nothing works and it is all over my body. The last straw was today. Thanks for reading this and hope you are all having a pain free day!

    I know how u feel mine are outta control too. I have so many of them I don't even look at my self when I get out of the shower I have tryed everything I have been on 7 meds and home I v my veins kept blowing my doctor wont do surgery on we cause I'm not strong enough

      Hello Christine, I am so sorry nothing is helping you! What I.v. are you on? My Dr. talked about Remicade but thought I should get the surgery even though it may not help much. I am pretty nervous with the grafting and recovery time but am going to give it a go. This disease is just evil and I hope you find some relief!!!
