Can a Couple go together and get a hsv test and they both come back positive, is there anyway they can know who got it first.? And how long they've had it ?

But can they tell you how long ? Even if it's past 3 months ?

Unfortunately it's a very small window and they won't be able to say how long...the thought is that it takes approx 3-4 months after being exposed for you to develop enough antibodies to show up on the blood test. So if you test negative by blood your body hasn't been through that window yet but if positive it's been at least past the 3-4 months, sorry

If both come back positive for IgG, then it's pretty impossible to say. Depends on how they were tested. What
