Well, my symptoms have followed that path multiple times but I don't have vestibular dysfunction, I have a misalined neck so I am hesitant to advise with such different diagnosis. However, I imagine the VRT would be similar to the physical therapy aspect.

I have neck issues also, i've been having atlas orthogenal adjustments for the past 3 months.  Its a type of neck adjustment where they are not popping the neck, its done with machine that sends vibrations to the top bone in the spine that hold your head up.

      Thanks for the reply

Ah, that sounds like decompression therapy. Have you noticed in any change yet in the frequency of your symptoms? It's a pretty subtle process so I imagine that it takes a little longer than what I have experienced.

Its hard to tell any changes really, I've noticed the dizzienss will give me a break a day or two a week, well lets say its not as bad as some days.  But I didn't have this neck tightening head pain thing before, yes I had neck, upper shoulder pain and headaches, but this is quick to come on and sometimes settles into one side of the head and can last for hours a day but then return in spurts following days.  I wondered also if it the muscles finally starting to relax at points because they have been very tight for 8 months now.

What type of therapy did you have?  Do you have dizziness to?

Yes, I started suffering with dizzy spells (first one was when I was driving, that was fun) and migraines with auras early December 2014. Skip past more than 10 months of testing and specialists to mid September 2015 and I started a cocktail of chiropractic adjustment, medical massage therapy and physical therapy which is mostly stretches and muscle strengthening focused on my lower neck.

I ask because I didn't see one ounce of change in the first 7 weeks or so. After that the progress was varied: one week I would have the same frequency of symptoms but they would feel less debilitating, the next week they would feel just as debilitating but would be for half the day instead of the entire day, the following week I would feel like I did before but have one day with no migraine and just the dizziness, etc.

It's a two step forward, one step backward process and progress is very slow but for many weeks now I have seen a huge decrease in both the frequency and severity of my symptoms because I finally reached the plateau and kind of got over the hump. There's still a lot of work to do but I'm just relieved to be working on something that is slowly working and doesn't involve any more drugs or the threat of surgery.
