Question about Ulcerative Colits. Poop Related.

So I used rarely poop and when I did there was a bunch of blood and mucus.

But after a bad bout of diherra last month and a very bad flare my poop has stopped having blood in it and has gotten Simi soild. Sorta quishy now. But I'm now going WAY MORE. Like five to seven times a day.

I've never had this happen to me the three years since being dignosed.

Is this normal? I haven't been taking any medication since I was in the hospital over a month ago. ( Right after being released my grandfather who raised me went into hospice care and died. I've been dealing with that and totally neglected mu treatment tbh.)

    Hi Jamie

Can you tell me if there has been any changes in your diet recently. Do you take diet with gluten in it? Spicy, alcohol, etc.

I haven't changed my diet. Tbh I've been living off of fast food or hospital food with how much was going on.

I normally tend to bake everything I cook though ( I advoid grease for health reasons and it normally flares me up) but I do eat a lot of spicy foods because I just like them to much to give them up.

I've had dirreha since leaving hospital too.

Today they gave me a kit to test my stool for CDiff....its something we can catch from the hospital.  If all the tests come back negative...I will be treated for colitis with medication.

if the medication does not work I will be having a colonoscopy.

hi..this was 7 months ago...the Dr. determined I did not have Cdif..thinks I have IBS or IBSD..the only way to tell is if I undergo a colonoscopy which I am not open to at this time.
