I don't remember too much swelling when I had mine done, my groin puffed up a bit which I assume was down to the port site wounds.

Did they supply you with a scrotal support / jock strap? I can't remember if they did for me or if I used the ones from my cyst surgery, but they're great for holding everything and feeling a bit safer.

Have you ballooned up a bit then Rory?

It's tough not to get a bit down after surgery mate, I know it's not open heart surgery but it's only a week since you had some pretty invasive surgery!

Personally I got a lot better after about 10 bad days, but honestly don't think I was 100% for about 4 months. We all heal different so hopefully you'll be quicker than me.

And try not to get too down, I've had 2 cyst removal ops and then the varicoceletomy. Followed by 2 nerve blocks to the nuts, the last one last Friday, which has already worn off and left more pain than before(!) so I know how p****d off you can get Rory, stick with it and keep your chin up mate.

Give the jock strap a try, it really helped me and the support certainly helped with the pain and discomfort.
