Question for those who have undergone the LHP / Laser hemorrhoid surgery

I would like to know if the procedure was done for your stage 3 or stage 4 hemorrhoids. Also I read on most websites that the procedure has little or no pain, is this really accurate? I am considering undergoing this procedure as I had the THD/HAL-RAR about 2 months but I am not sure if that actually worked as there's still some swelling and pain in my anal area. It seems the standard procedure is to combine HAL-RAR with Laser but my doctor didn't do that so now I am considering the Laser procedure. If you have had the procedure please share your experience.
